Calculate Average Cell Edge Length -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

gtarroyo New Member Gabe Join Date: Jun 2014 Posts: 4 Rep Power: 11	To the community, How do you calculate the average mesh cell edge length in the x, y, and z directions? If this possible, or is there at least a way to ask the total Average edge length of a mesh? I'm specifically looking for a built in function of fluent, it seems like it should be part of the mesh properties but it is not listed. Is this a function of the Ansys Mesher or of CFD-Post and I'm just looking in the wrong place??
