residuals

hello, I have some simulations where the first values for the velocityresiduals begin always very slow in the range of 1e-3 to 1e-4. After they decrease about two decades. What influence has this behaviour on my convergence criterium.

Thank you for your help

Re: residuals

Hi,

I may be wrong, but I think that low residuals from the outset of a simulation means that your initial guess' are quiet close to the correct solution. As for the level to which they converge, I would say hat you should look at the results, and then lower the residual tolerance by maye 2 more decades and run the problem and see if there is a change in your results.

Regards, Jack.
