Mesh Type

Hello, I have a simple tank (vertical cylinder), with a pumparound. I tried to mesh the volumes by different schemes, but succeeded only in using elements: Tet/Hybrid, and Type: Tgrid. I exported the mesh to Fluent 5.3, and produced two vertical surfaces: x=0 and y=0. The meshes should be symmetrical about the vertical axis, but they are not. Please note that I do not expect this to be symmetric about the axis on the plane in which I have the pumparound, but of course I strongly like it to be symmetric on the vertical plane perpendicular to this plane, which in my case is x=0. It is not symmetrical. Please let me know if in such a case I am using the right kind of meshing scheme.
