Define a zone to patch

Hi all!

I hope someone of you can help me.

I have a grid already defined with fluid zones and boundaries. Inside the fluid field, I would like to define a new zone (few mm^2) where I would like to patch some specific values for one of the variables. Do you know how to define a new zone which can then be seen (and therefore selected) in the list of fluid and solid zones of the patch window? I would like to avoid to go back to Gambit and re-grid to define this new zone.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Ciao

Maurizio

Re: Define a zone to patch

Use adapt - region. Specify the x and y (and z) coordinates of the region you'd like to patch. Then click mark, but don't adapt. Now when you go to patch, there will be a new zone defined.
