radiative heat transfer

hello, I modelise coal burner in furnace. I have a coal flame and I would like to know the part of radiative and convective heat transfer on the load...

I need some help about. thnaks and bye

Hi Olivier,

Assuming that you are interested in the heat transfer to the furnace walls then you can simply report total and radiant heat to walls (Report >Fluxes). In a furnace, the bulk temp will be some 1500 degC reaching peaks of some 1800-1900 degC, therefore the majority (>70%) of heat release will be radiant.
