help: data format - post processing

Hi,

I am working on a transient problem and have output about 1000 data files. I would like to write a stand alone C or Fortan code to read in all the data files, compute some parameters from each data file, and then save the computed parameters as a funtion of time to a file. Does anyone know the data format (binary) of Fluent or can anyone suggest where I can find it? Thanks!

Hi, Fluent support engineer used to send me Fluent's data file as ASCII files. So the data format may be ASCII. I am not absolutely sure about it...just want to share my experience.

Good luck

Billy
