flow across an aerofoil near to the ground

Hi!

From simulation, It can been seen that there is an increase in downforce when the aerofoil come close the ground ie: ground effects. but when the aerofoil comes close to a certain height, the downforce suddenly reduced drastically.

Do anyone know why?.

Hi,
I have no idea of ground effect on airfoil. I need to do numerical simulation of multielement airfoil. can u give me idea of the subject ? any idea of how to proceed in numerical simulation.
