hi, i am trying to model a submerged elliptical jet impinging on a surface. the flow region consists of a box and i tried to make an elliptical hole on one face for the jet and mesh the solid, but i got the error "front face not matched by back face". so i created an identical ellipse on the opposite face, but i still get the same error. in an effort to overcome the error,i projected the ellipse on top(with no matching ellipse on the bottom for this case) through some distance(opposite direction) to create a solid and applied velocity conditions on the elliptical face coinciding with the flow region(box). but the post processing stage showed no flow deformation in the box or the flow region. does anybody know what i am doing wrong? thank you pradeep
