how to disable energy equation for for non-newton

Hi: I want to set power law model for Non-Newtonian Viscosity .but I don't want to solve energy equation. I set power law model for Non-Newtonian .and give k,n to describe my Non-Newtonian fluid. When I set boundary condition ,and give fluid matirial. FLUENT will enable energy equation. I try to disable energy equation. But it can't to disable energy equation. someone one can tell me how to set power law model for non-newtonian fluid but not enable energy equation thanks!!

Re: how to disable energy equation for for non-new

Hi,

I faced the same problem some weeks ago. I did not manage to disable energy equation resolution too. Thus, to prevent Fluent from calculating the temperature field, I defined an UDF for a non-newtonian power law model that does the same as the one defined in Fluent, but without temperature dependance. And it works very well...
