Default S.O.S:A problem about meshing.

Hi, I am calculating velocity and press field of flow in heat exchanger now. The shell-and-plate heat exchanger was column with helical baffle.But I can not mesh the volume by using gambit ! I am use fluent juet now . Please tell me what should I do? Give me your hand! Thank you ! (My email:qiuwuyu@263.net )

Hi, Two points: (a)See the error message printed by the gambit in the left-lowest of the screen. (b)reduce the mesh spacing(or space)to one smaller value(it's default value is 1). hope to help you. Harry.

Thank you for your help! The error message is :

Assertion failed in Fcae PrepTool.cc, line336:test_valence>=min_valence while meshing valume 94.

But I don't know what does it mean?Can you tell me!

Hi,

sorry,I don't know what it means too. But check the volume 94 meshing in detail. Another point is that you should specify the zone boundary type only after you meshes the entity.
