Fluent 5.4 and Linux kernel 2.4 -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

HP Guest Posts: n/a	Hi there We have recently installed kernel 2.4 on a Redhat 7.0 system. Since this I have had trouble getting parallel (multiple Linux PC's) runs started. My problem appears when trying to read (partition) the grid in the Linux parallel solver. I use a sliding mesh. When trying to import into the parallel solver using Metis, I get the following: "... Error: prf-set-var: invalid flonum Error Object: (0) Cells section: missing closing or open parathesis..." Has anybody experienced similar problems? thanks hp
