Oil-water-gas phase flow with FLUENT
I am doing a project about two phase flow (oil-water-gas) in a hilly terrain pipe. I have some doubt whether the FLUENT can simulate this flow phenomenon or not?

Re: Oil-water-gas phase flow with FLUENT
Normally fluent 6 will perform this kind of simulation. But I do't know for Fluent 5.

Re: Oil-water-gas phase flow with FLUENT
You should be a bit more precise with your question to get a usefull answer.
How do you want to treat the water-oil-emulsion. As one fluid or as two fluids which try to separate during the flow? How much gas and in which form (bubbles or dissolved) do you have? |
Re: Oil-water-gas phase flow with FLUENT
Isn't this the realm of simultion programs like OLGA2000? Check out:

Dear sir I am MSc student in petroleum engineering at Petroleum University of Technology(P.U.T). I want information about three phase releative permeability and their behavoir in porous media.

Re: Oil-water-gas phase flow with FLUENT
Dear Samaneh This is the wrong forum for trying to get an answer to your question.
There are many books and papers published on this subject. Try the search engine for "relative permeability", or "reservoir engineering". I hope that this is useful. |
Hi there
I am working on oil-water-gas flow in steel pipeline. I have some problem with finding flow pattern. is anybody that can help me? I work with fluent 13 and eulerian anf k-e standard condition. I want to receive to oil wetting and decreasing corrosion rate in pipe. thank you |
