Gambit :The differences between merge & unite ?

Can anyone tell me what are the diffrences between merge & unite ? in what circumstances merge is better than unite ? I've read about it in gambit manual, but still don't get it. I know that both of them can be used in either real or virtual

Hi siswaras, as i know, unite is uniting two/more volume to 1 volume, but you'll have a new volume as joining 2/more volumes. While merge, you'll have your own volume, it's just like grouping. It's not easy to grid the merged volumes.
