 August 14, 2001, 07:44 Re: 2d to 3d by rotation #2 Philipp Guest   Posts: n/a ...depends on your 2d geometry and the desired elements or mesh (structured or unstructured), respectively. try in general following: generate a 2d geometry, revolve it around the axis of rotation, mesh one side face, mesh the volume (e.g. by cooper scheme)

Are you asking if it is in general possibel to generate a 3d geometry by revolving a face? If so than the answer is yes. Check also the manuals about the details. I think it's quite good described there. Philipp
