partition problem ...

Hi,

I want model a heat transfer problem. I want to see the effect of planar conduction on the walls. Since the problem has high number of elements, I have to use the parallel version of 5.5. But the paralel version can not make the partition process when there exist boundaries with the planar conduction option on. So I have to perform the partition process on the serial solver and save the case and reopen the partitioned case in the paralel version (!)

But when try to partition the mesh in the serial solver using many partition options , the code gives a warning message saying that one of the partitions will have more than 3 times mesh than others.and suggest to reduce the number of the partitions.

Anybody met such kind of a problem before ?

Any suggestions?

Regards.
