Help

Hello everyone,

My model is about the particle deposition efficiencies on the wall. Now I want to set 50% total particles will be traped on the wall when they hit the wall, while others are reflect. I haven't found this option in Fluent 5. Can somebody know this function and help me out?

Thank you very much.

regards

Re: Help

Fluent sets ALL the particles that arrive to a boundary to have a defined fate. I think that it is possible to overide that with a UDF, but ignore how complicated can it get.

Re: Help

A) How about u divide ur wall into 2 types. Divide the whole wall into 10 parts (the more the better). B) Every alternative parts of the wall could be considered as reflective or entrapped.

Thank you very much. Because I expect the particles deposition on the wall is statistics, 50% reflected and 50% traped,so how can I do? lucy
