Default How to create an inclined isosurface in 3D ?

Hi Fluent users,

I am studying the flow in a 3D elbow pipe with circular cross-section, I want to study the results at the circular face which divides the elbow pipe excactly into two parts. actually this face is inclined at an angle of 45 degrees to x and y.Do I need to use isosurface?? Is there any option in fluent to create such faces, or do I need to create it in gambit. Can anybody assist me?

Hi,

I would create an isosurface from a 'custom field function', e.g. x+y=constant. This will create the desired surface.

In the

Surface... -> Plane...

panel you can simply define planes in any direction you need.
