Why are Shadows created in Fluent? Kindly explain. Regards Thejasvi

Suppose you have a wall defined between a solid and a fluid zone inside gambit then when you read the mesh in fluent, it will automatically generate these "two sided walls" during its grid gen process. i.e you will see a wall and a wall-shadow zone been created. Both are coupled. One side is directed to the solid and the other to the fluid. To find out which one is what..go inside the boundary condition panel and see the "adjacent cell zone".
