Which material are you going to inject ?

1. For gas : Injection area should be generated at the mesh generation level(Gambit). That is, each injector should be defined as surface.

2. For oil and solid : Injection can be defined at the point, group or surface. This is defined at the solver level(Fluent). See 'define injection'.
