Default Wall reflection terms

Hi all,

I noticed that Fluent provides a Reynolds Stress Model with an option to include or neglect wall reflection terms. Did anyone perform simulation with and without these terms?

If so, what was the main difference? Did the velocity profile and tubulence quantities near the wall change significantly. Did you perform any passive scalar mixing or heat transfer to the wall? Was there any difference?

Thank you for reading and answering, Astrid
