Default Too many vertices and faces - GAMBIT

Hello all,

I am trying to create a geometry in GAMBIT that involves subtraction of some cylinders from a rectangular box. I find that this results in the creation of hundreds of new faces. I cannot delete most of these faces because they are connected to 'upper topogical identities'. Is there any way to get rid of them?

Thanks.

I take it you are subtracting volumes from volumes. Normally I would have expected that to work well enough in Gambit.

Delete the volumes you are left with, but keep the lower geometry (faces). You can them delete these (or perhaps healing them would be the way to go). Then build up your volume from the faces.
