hi,

who can explain me this? I have funnel shaped chamber. A tangential water jet enters at the lower part of the funnel. it creates swirl flow in the chamber. slowly it rises(diverging). I want to model it in fluent.

Q..I have taken x-axis as vertical axis and y& z axis as horizotal axis. Therefore Flow is rotating about x-axis. Is this construction is ok? if yes what i have to input in BOUNDARY CONDITION--> FLUID--> axis of rotation? By defalut axis of rotation is 0,0,1.

I am using Realisable K-e model is it ok? ( week swirl) waiting for your reply.
