create volume

I am working on a lung model. The geometry cosists of edges and face only. I need to create a volume out of them. Could anyone suggest me how to do this?

Re: create volume

If you are using Gambit to create your model, you should open the toolpads to create a volumn. then click the sub tool button(the first button from the left in the third row) to choose to create a volumn by stitching the existing faces. Your existing faces should be able to enclose a solid volumn. Otherwise, you have to heal your faces if there are some small gaps existing between faces or create additional faces to make them enclose a solid volumn. Good luck.

I have tried doing that but I get an error message saying that some of the faces exist on a volume ,while there is no volume present. Please let me know what to do now.

Try to delete the volume WITHOUT deleting lower topologies and this should leave you with just vertices, edges and faces, then go from there.
