Hello everyone,

Is anybody know how to transform the global coordinate to local coordinate in Fluent 6.0? I need to decide some points location in Local coordinate. But in Fluent 6.0, I only got these location data in Global Coordiante. Where can I use coordinate transform option? Thanks a lot lucy

1. It is possible to translate whole domain in Fluent.

2. It is possible to define boundary condition by local cylindrical coordinates.

3. As far as I know, it is impossible to translate sompe point to local coordinates because its connectivity may be changed. If you are interested in the defining the grid data to plot or export, I recommend that you use 'custom field function'.

Sincerely, Jinwook
