flow simulation with a fixed transition point?

it seems someone said that Fluent can set one zone as laminar and another zone as turbulence. but I can't find details.

I'm simulating the flow of a curved body with a ramp. I want to set the starting point of the ramp as a transition point.

would anyone like to help me how to do this?

any help is appreciated.

split grid and Specifying a Laminar Zone

Split the grid into two separate zones with the appropriate interface. Setup your turbulence models for all your zones. Then check the box to specify the laminar zone.
