questions

I am beginner with fluent and i'd like to ask a few questions:

1)How to know when a solution is accurate? When it converges for a second order? Can a solution be accurate even if it has not converged?

2)Is a second order more difficult to converge?

Re: questions

Emily, As beginner you will find it useful if you try to model and simulate some well know cases with know solutions, e.g. flow over sphere, flat plate, 0012 NASA aerofoil...etc. then compare how accurate is the solution. Yes second order solution is more accurate once it converged..Good Luck

Re: questions

Is a second order more difficult to converge ? : In general, YES, more difficult to converge.
