Default Density Gradient- UDF

How can I access a density gradient for UDF purposes? Macro C_R_G(c,t) doesn't work.

I think the usage is:

C_R_G(c,t)[0] for x direction C_R_G(c,t)[1] for y direction etc.

If that doesn't work, copy C_R into a uds and then use
