Ho Could I define the Heat transfer in pipe
 
I need help I just started using Fluent, and here we are using Fluent 5.5. I have difficulties in defining the heat transfer from a hot stream flowing in inside pipe through its wall to coder streams flowing outside the inside pipe...

I have the same problem , I dealing with concentric pipe fluid flow..any one can help..??

Among below threads, see the title "modeling of coupled problem". As I think, that could be a solution to your situation.

But I still have a problem; my task ivolve exothermic reaction which should be intiated by a heat from inner pipe inorder the reaction to take place; so according to your suggestion It is not yet clear to me how I can achieve this exothermic reaction in my process....
