Hello all,

I used MPM to create a group of particles with an overall 3 cm height in a cylinder, everything went well. (Picture 1)

Then I registered the region (region_0) to fill water around the particles. (Picture 2).

After that, I patched water in this region.

The vof of MPM is logical (Picture 3), but the vof of water does not make sense (Picture 4). The vof of water should not fill in the place where MPM is occupied.

My question is that I would like to fill water in the free space between a group of particles, how can I do it?

And why I patch water in the particle region, the vof of water filled in the place where MPM is occupied?

Any feedback is appreciated.
