about rate of species creation and depletion

Hi there, I am doing some modeling on chemical reactions in a stirred tank. I don't have the specific reaction equation, in stead, I know the rate of creation and depletion of every species. Since the rate function in UDF does not directly address the particular rate of species creation or depletion, I don't know how to solve the problem. Does anyone have some ideas?

Re: about rate of species creation and depletion

The reaction rate UDF allows you to explicitly specify the rate of the reaction of a simple a => b reaction and is not set up for multiple reactions (***development request here***).

Since the reaction rate UDF is really just a simple way to specify your species equation source term, you'll have to set up UDF's to return for individual species mass sources and sinks based on the rates you have.
