What do these errors mean?

I have a 3D geometry and mesh that I completed and exported from gambit2.0.4 to a .FDNEUT file. I then try to use this mesh in a model mostly involving internal radiation calculations in Fidap 8.6.0 (which I am running remotely over the university unix server). When I read in my inputfile to fidap, it does not complete the creation of the Fisolv data and it gives me this message after fidap closes.

iio: [1010] off end of record lately: writing sequential formatted internal IO part of last string: OES NOT EXISIFFFF Abort

I have no idea what this message is trying to tell me? Does anyone know if this error is a fidap error or is it simply something wrong with the university server (or the installation)?

After getting this error, I went back into gambit to check the geometry. All the volumes pass the geometry and topology check and the mesh seems OK (its not great, there are 0.05% in the 0.7-0.8 range but most are below 0.4 for equi-angle skewness), but when I try to delete a volume, gambit shuts down and I get this message: Recieved exception: Assertion failed in GdbObject.cc, line 987: 0

again, I don't know what that means or how to find out what it means. Any suggestions for where I can find information (or any information) is very welcome. Does this seem like an input error or an installation error to you?

Thanks - Jeff
