Hello, I have a "working" LES model of flow in a pipe. I was wondering if anyone else has attempted this. I would love to compare the procedure followed to get your model to work. I'd be willing to give you case and data files along with an isotropic turbulence initial condition generator. It works very well.

Still looking for some interested people in this project. Just to clear the air, the developer of the isotropic generator is at Fluent and doesn't mind it's redistribution. It is an excellent way to initialize turbulent flow.
