Integration with personal code!

I was wondering if I can call Gambit/Fluent functions from my C or Fortran program or from shell script... I know about running Fluent in batch mode, but this would be different as I'd like to give commands from my C program. Thanks.... - Deepak...

I don't think you can do this - but you can do the reverse - ie. you can link your code into the Fluent code. You could then run your code (get Fluent to run it) and access some internal functions. However, depending on what you want to do, I'm not sure it would be a good idea.......

Re: Integration with personal code!

Hi Greg, Thanks... I guess I'll have to do with running in batch mode. Anyway just to elaborate I wanted to use a function like mainan(" ") for Ansys where I can give Ansys commands from my C program. Anyway I guess this can't be done in Fluent.

Thanks, ----Deepak...
