Default Turbulent intensity input

Simple question:

In the velocity-inlet boundary panel I can specify turbulent intensity as turbulence boundary parameter. Does this intensity relate to the inlet velocity or to the reference velocity? Fluent documentation is ambiguous.

Thanks Erwin

I checked with a sample calculation. The turbulence intensity input is based on the specified input velocity, but if you plot any values the reference value is used. So if these are not the same you will get some big differences.

Cheers
