How to get Exponential Curve in Transient?

hello all,

For Transient simluation,

I am tryin to monitor the concentration of gas in a room, however for the monitors, it is either plotting concentration against "time step" or "flow time".

However I tried both, and both gives me the curves of how concentration changes in STEPS. But I want to get a curve rather than in stepwise pattern.

If my modelling is accurate, the concentration of gas in a room should decrease exponentially with time, however when I plot and write a monitor for it, and using plot against "Flow Time", I did not get a curve but a stepwise fashion of decreasing concentraion.

How do I get the exponential decay curve? Please help!!Thanks.
