Reeds vegetation as a porous media zone regarding a stormwater pond

Hello everyone, my name is Alex and im trying to model the effect of vegetation on flow in stormwater ponds. I have simulated the pond with RNG k-e and i have a converged solution but i have no idea how to model the vegetation (known density cover) in terms of appluing a porous media condition. Any suggestions please??? Cheers!

I plan to do the same thing (the wave attenuation performance of vegetation), so it would be very helpful for me if you can share your experience with me.
