You have to define that porous jump boundary type in gambit first then only you can see that option in BC panel in Fluent Rahul

Hi Joka,

You either have to specify the face zone(3-d) or the edge(2-d) as interior face/edge or porous jump in Gambit. Hope this helps you

Thanx for help. But as I read through the Fluent manual, I understood that porous jump should be a thin layer so it is more appropriate for filter materials or things alike not for a long length of packed bed. So I am dealing with a packed bed could I use porous jump???

I think that porous media is best choice for the simulation of packed bed.
