simple problem

I am working on a purge tank model but to start that analysis I made a simpler model. A 2 D rectangle with a inlet pipe and outlet pipe. The enitre geometry was defined as a single face and quad mapped for simplicity. In Fluent- Pressure Inlet was defined as 1 psig

and Pressure Outlet as 0 psig. Upon solving this model Fluent gives me this error of Error :Divergence Detected in AMG solver .

Any clues? Thanks in adavance.

Please dcrease the urfs in case of seg solver or courant number in case of coupled solver.

Hello,

You may also like to check your turbulence quantities' specification at your inlets and outlets. Sometimes this might be the reason for the 'divergence detected in the AMG solver" error. If both these methods do not work (ie., the urf reduction and the correct turb specs) you can try with different initializations. Hope this helps.
