Eulerian Granular Flow

I have used Eulerian Granular Flow model together with no-slip boundary conditions in fluent 6 to solve gas-solid flow in a pipe. I try to use single phase flow solution as the initial condition. So I tried to get the single-phase flow solution by deselecting the volume fraction equation in the solve panel. However, the results obtained in this way were wrong -- the gas-phase velocities at the wall are not zero as we would expect for the no-slip boundary condition. I checked it over and over but still cannot figure it out. Anyone can give me suggestion or advice? thanks a lot!!

Re: Eulerian Granular Flow

hi i want u to check the following, make a line which cuts radially through centre. and plot the velocity of gas on this line now check whether it is showing the velocity at the end or not . convey me soon vaibhav
