Wall shear stress in a UDF

I need to manipulate the wall shear stress using UDF.

But I can not find any variable in UDF Manual that could pick up the shear stress value from Fluent solver.

Can anybody help?

If the calculatins are simple, then write the profile of the sh.Stress on the desired wall & open this profile file in excel & do the calculations.

Re: Wall shear stress in a UDF

Hi, I have had the same problem when I tried to use the value of the wss given by fluent to calculate some other variables (mainly the gradient of the wss, ISO, GWSS...) There is no indication about this in all the manual of fluent ( and even in the www)... Try to specify your problem and I will try to explain you how to do, otherwise, wait until march 2003, I am preparing a web site to download some usefull UDF well explained... best regards lagha
