How to do my own materials library?

Hello,

I would like to know how to create a file to stock my materials because those are specific and I think I cant access to the original file of materials because it is on a network for students so they dont want me to touch it. Can I do that as an UDF?

Thank U Luc

In cortex\lib\ directory, you will see scm fil fomat. Open it, and add some material poperties as given format. You can open them at mateial pannel pf FLuent.

Thanks,

JW

Yes, I'd like to know what the path of that directory is too. Does anyone know if silicon is listed as a material under the FLUENT library? My lab's closed over the Christmas/New Year break, and I can't check whether silicon's listed. If not, I need to go find out the material properties pronto!

Much thanks.
