Hello, I have taken the surface file of a part through CT-scanning technique but the problem is that this model is just a surface and when I try to import it to Gambit for mesh generation, it'll give error. does anybody know how I can convert this surface file to a volume file?

HI amir, I have also the same problem. I have one iges file, which i export into gamit and tried to create volume. But its not possible to create geometry. you have mentioned that it can repir by model software( "1/the correct file format, just like iges and *.sat 2/surface -->volume:use model software repare the model "). Is it separe software. Where can i get it?
