Reynolds stresses

Can anyone recommend any values for the under relaxation values in order to make the Reynolds stresses converge, when all other values have converged?

Thanks

Re: Reynolds stresses

Darrell, use 0.4~0.5 firstly about 100 iteration,then 0.9 about 200 iteration,and then 1.0.Hope this can help you!

Re: Reynolds stresses

hi darrel,

we r an italian team working on fluent and we found some problems about reynold stress model in the simulation of water in a curved closed pipe. we r unable to obtain convergence. even setting underrelaxation factors under 0.2 and starting with a standard reynolds k-epsilon. after like 100 iterations all the values go up to 1E35 in 2 or 3 steps.

tanks a lot even if u dont have the answer :)
