Default mpg production
Posts: n/a
Hi again, Does any body know a good way to produce mpg's in fluent to visualize time dependent problems. (Windows so cannot dump graphics window in a macro every time step or so). Tried using key frames but they write over the previous one. Thanks, Rat

Write a jpeg hardcopy every timestep, then use a program like ImageN (freeware) to join them into an avi. This can then, if needed, be converted into an mpeg. This gives a much better image quality than the mpeg option offered by Fluent since you can use a high resolution.
