i have a serious problem please help me i want to model a water flow in a open channel junction i have to get to the model two fixed dischrge one in branch and another in main channel.what kind of boundary i must use in inlets? i am using mass flow inlet now,but i cant use vof with massflow inlet. i want to get results in txt format,i mean for example velocity in each element with dimention of that. what can i do? what kine of solver have i got to use? i dont have any manual about fluent,how i can get it? how i can model free surface in open channel? thanks

In Fluent window just click on HELP pull down menu located right hand top corner and select table of content....

Most of your doubts have been posted in this forum in the past and answered too by many users. You can read the arcives also. Hope this will help you in the absence of Manuals.
