I'm doing a model of rotating disc in enclosed area. The distance between each corotating disc is very small compared to the geometry of the box. However the flow is supposed to be turbulence (with boundary layer). But the current result that I have only the laminar flow present at the gap. Can I use grid adaption to refine the elements? Or is that any other way to tackle this problem? I'm trying to reproduced the shrouded corotating disc effect as in Abrahamson experiment..
