Running FLUENT in batch mode for Windows OS
 
Can't seem to locate the instructions on how to do just that. Any advice will be appreciated.

I'm sorry I was just reading your one, And I didn't meant to any new message, anyway as far as I know when you want to run Fluent in Batch under Windows OS, you just launch it from the dos prompt as you would on a Unix Machine, except you can't write the outfile, i.e:

fluent version -g -i Journal.jou

And fluent will execute what's written in the journal. When you run fluent in such a way the option -g doesn't eliminate the gui but reduce it to icon, as you can read tipying fluent -help from your command window. I haven't already found a way to make fluent exoprt the output to a specofied file. PS: Don't forget to add Fluent directory to your path.

hi there
 
I want to execute Fluent in batch mode in XP,I want to have Cl and Cd as a result(file),but I have not any output file,I can only run my journal file by this command :
fluent 2d -g -i tast.jou
Please tell me how can I have output file(Cl & Cd).
please help me as soon as possible.
