If you use the icem-cfd,you can use the Autohex to finish it,it's very easy!

What exactly do you want a human in the room for??

Are you measuring heat transfere ??

it could be a WALL ...it depends on what you want to evaluate

Re: How to put human in a room?

I am trying to find an optimum supply temperature for a lecture hall in different situations.

Such as, optimum supply temperature when there are 100 occupants inside....

Right now, my solution is set the boundary conditions (for human) to wall, but I dont know what kinda "wall" should I set?

Do I need to add Heat generation rate and other stuff???

Thanks in advance.

ps. I am using Fluent 5.3

Im no really fammiliar with Fluent 5., but a you can use the wall with the temperarute option and there you can specify the temperature óf the human and the heat generation rate.

Hi you can use Kansas State University model for the human body heat transfer model. KSU have a very precise model for heat transfer study on human body. if you search in WWW you'll probably find some papers related to them. if you couldn't find something let me know to introduce you some useful paper.
