udf problem!! plz

Hi! all I want to know how deal with UDF problem. My project is to solve temperature and velocity field(2D) in EAF(electric arc furnace) I would like to add the Lorentz force(source term) at z-axis in momentum equation, and joule heating and Thompson effect(source terms) in energy equation. cathode and anode will be adding the heat_sources respectively! I don't know how to write!! If anybody has ever experienced this problem and teaches me, I will appreciate !!

Re: udf problem!! plz

I have written a udf that adds a inertial force in the momentum equations, which, judging from your statement, is somewhat similiar to your requirement. if you want to have it as a reference, I can send it to you by e-mail.

I also want to add the cathode and anode source into energy generation term. I believe your code will help me in this case. can I hace it as a reference?

thanks!
