Particle tracks - animation

Hello! How can I make an animation (avi or mpg file) from displaying particle tracks?

Hi mneo and hedonist

I will send you a link where you can find the information that you request. However, I want something in exchange!

Once you have done your animation I want that you send me an e-mail tell me how do you do your animation and also the scheme that you use.

I need this information to create a similar animation in a month

I'm trying to do it also but I did'nt find anyway of creating video file from particule track animation with fluent. But as workaround I'm using a software which create video file from a part of the screen... This is not a easy way to proceed, but that's the only solution that I've found until now.

Re: Particle tracks - animation

Hello ! Thank you Alex for help. I've read all help files, but i think it's not so easy. I followed these examples (Modeling Evaporating Liquid Spray) and you are right that eneble time dependence in droplet model can substitute in calculations DPM but there is still problem with animation. Displaying droplets trajektories use once again particle tracks panel so coordinates and velocities of droplets/particles are enumerated in postprocessing but not during iterating. So it's imposible to save *.cxa and *.hmf files on hard disk.
